Choosing the right software for the different methodologies we use as researchers according to the objectives we have set ourselves is crucial if we want to act in the most powerful, flexible and efficient way. Python is a free software programming language that has undergone a great evolution and expansion, and is one of the most powerful free software in quantitative analysis and numerical calculation.
The aim of these seminars is to provide participants with basic training in the use of Python for scientific calculations, as well as its application in social science research and specifically in the field of marketing. For example, webscrapping or sentiment analysis are two applications that can be interesting in this scientific field.
The seminars will take place on 15 and 16 January 2025 in the Boardroom of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and here you can access the seminar programme.
