Professor of Strategic Management at Universidad de Zaragoza. His research focuses on the analysis of firms’ strategic decisions and their effect on business performance. Some of the recent topics studied include competitive dynamics, the role of institutions in strategic decisions, diffusion of innovations, and entrepreneurship. The results of this research has been published in outlets such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Research Policy, Information Systems Research o Journal of Economics and Management Strategy. Lucio is currently the President of the Spanish Academy of Management (ACEDE) and the Chair of the GEM Project in the Autonomous Region of Aragón. He also acts as Associate Editor of Revista de Economía Aplicada. Between 2010 y 2014 he was the main editor of BRQ Business Research Quarterly (formerly Cuadernos de Economía y Dirección de la Empresa, CEDE).
